Christian Aid has organised a climate Justice event in Colombia. About 300 people from different social movements and NGOs got together on the 28 and 29 September to contribute to the emergence of the Climate Justice Movement in Colombia through the introduction of the subject on the political agendas of the social organisations.
Issues discussed included their perspectives to achieve Climate Justice, to provide a contribution from Colombia to the Climate Justice Movement in Latin America and the Caribbean, alternative scenarios to the UN conference of Copenhagen and to strengthen the communities and social organizations consciousness about the importance of working towards Climate Justice in Colombia.
